Our Commitment to Sustainability
At Timberwood Panels, sustainability is more than a commitment — it’s embedded in everything we do. We recognise the vital role the building and design industry plays in protecting our planet’s forests, which is why we ensure all our timber products are responsibly sourced and transparently certified.
Certified Sustainable Timber
We are proud to hold dual certification under the world’s leading forest certification systems: PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) and FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®). These certifications verify that our veneer, plywood, MDF, and particleboard products are manufactured using wood sourced from responsibly managed forests and controlled sources.
FSC® Chain of Custody Certification
Certified to sell FSC 100%, FSC Mix, and FSC Controlled Wood products (Certificate Code: SCS-COC-701020, FSC-C031332), our FSC certification ensures the traceability of our timber from forest to final product. This guarantees that the wood used in our products supports responsible forest management practices that are environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable.PEFC Chain of Custody Certification
Our PEFC certification (SCS-PEFC-COC-701020) ensures that wood used in our products is sourced from sustainably managed forests and tracked through every stage of processing and distribution. PEFC promotes forest health, biodiversity, and the long-term viability of timber supply chains.
Verified by SCS Global Services
Our certifications have been independently audited and awarded by SCS Global Services, a leading third-party certifier of environmental, sustainability, and quality performance. Certification applies to our Campbellfield and Dandenong South manufacturing and distribution facilities in Victoria, Australia.
